Eve Soffer Liberman wears many hats: artist; illustrator; puppeteer; seamstress; writer; musician. Her work draws inspiration from folklore and folk culture, fairy tales, nature, magic, and girlhood. When she isn’t drawing, painting, sewing, or making music, you might find her attempting to commune with the tiny people that live in trees and wear acorn caps as hats.

Born and raised in New York City, she is a graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for the Arts and Smith College and is currently pursuing an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Goldsmiths, University of London.
